Hello Berewick Elementary Readers! I am so excited to be starting my fifth year as a Bobcat! It is my goal to instill a love of reading, research, and technology to everyone who enters the Library. I am currently in my 13th year as a Media Coordinator having worked at both elementary and middle schools throughout CMS. I received my BS degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University...GO PIRATES!!! And the subsequently went on for a MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a MC in Gerontology, both from UNC Charlotte. After working in this field for several months, I realized that my life was leaning in a much different direction and that I wanted to teach what I loved...BOOKS!!! So into the schools I went and back to earn my second MS degree, this time in Library and Information Studies from UNC Greensboro. Since then I have learned so much and continued to grow in my personal and professional life. I am married and live in a book-filled home that included two wonderful, although slightly crazy, dogs. When not at Berewick, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to church, doing yard work, watching movies, doing jigsaw puzzles, and of course...READING!!! I am greatly looking forward to another year with the students, staff, families, and surrounding community of Berewick Elementary!
